A POPULAR Skipton choir will mark its fourth anniversary by performing at the town’s Christ Church.

Rock Up and Sing! will fill the historic building with music next Saturday, June 14 at 7.30pm.

Under the title They Will Rock You, the 85-strong choir will be accompanied by a live band for a programme including songs by Queen, The Beatles, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones and many more.

The choir has 100 members from around Skipton who are willing to try just about anything!

Choir director Rhiannon Gayle said: “Our Skipton choir has gone from strength to strength since it was set up in 2010.

“The event will be a great way to celebrate four years of learning and fun, as well as celebrating the place we have established in the community. We’re looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones at the concert.”

Tickets for the concert are £10 each and are available by calling 01423 508500.
