ORGANISERS of Skipton Building Society Horse Trials are appealing for volunteers to act as fence judges at part two of the annual event next month.
The volunteers are sited at each obstacle on the cross country course to make sure everything goes smoothly - and that spectators keep out of the way of galloping horses.
Its a great day out for anyone with any interest - or not - in horses, as not only do they get free entry, there is a constant supply of refreshments provided by the organisers.
The one day event, accredited to British Eventing, takes place from August 2-3 at Heslaker Farm, off the A59 at Carleton - the same weekend as Tough Mudder, just down the road at Broughton Hall.
Anyone willing to volunteer for the horse trials can email volunteer@skiptonhorsetrials.co.uk
