THIS week's nostalgia picture takes us back about 80 years.
It shows Grassington's football team in the early 1930s and has been loaned by Skipton woman Jean Straker.
Her father, Cyril Launders, is pictured at the front, third from the left.
She tells us: "He was a police constable at Grassington, aged about 22 or 23. He lodged with Mrs Warhurst in the village. Other members of the team are not known.
"My father later moved to Broughton Road, Skipton, where he completed his 25 years of police service."
