THE Craven Herald will stage its autumn wedding fair next Sunday, September 21.

It will be held at Coniston Hotel, Coniston Cold, whose wedding co-ordinators were voted North East Wedding Co-ordinators of the Year in the 2013.

The event will run from 11am to 2pm and admission is free.

More than 350 visitors are expected and there will be goody bags for the first 50 brides through the door.

There is also the chance to win a Kuoni seven-night honeymoon to Sri Lanka, which boasts spectacular scenery with gigantic Buddhas and crumbling ancient cities.

Craven Herald advertising sales executive Hayley Cornish said: "The event is held twice a year - in February and September - and there is usually a brilliant turn out.

“Following the outstanding success of this year's spring wedding fair we are looking forward to another hugely successful day for visitors and exhibitors alike.

"The atmosphere is always lovely at this beautiful venue and there is plenty for everyone to see.”

As usual, there will be a host of exhibitors on hand to help those getting married to plan their big day.

As well as bridal gowns and menswear, there will be hen and stag party ideas, cake designers, jewellers, florists, car specialists and photographers.

And, if that isn't enough, there will also be sweet carts, wedding planners and those specialising in table settings.

Hayley added: "It will be amazing. We will have a great range of exhibitors in attendance - in fact, everything a new bride and bridegroom-to-be would need to plan every aspect of their big day."
