POTENTIAL students of Craven College can find out about its extensive range of courses at an open day this weekend.

The centre's three centres will be open on Saturday morning and the event will include demonstrations and workshops, with tutors on hand to answer questions.

At the Aireville Campus, students will be introduced to art and design, media and performance studies, science and business. The campus is also home to child care, health and social care, the travel and aviation academy, A-levels and apprenticeships.

Also, next door at the auction mart is the new Sports Golf Academy and outdoor activities, including an outdoor climbing wall.

The Centre for Construction at Snaygill Industrial Estate has well-equipped workshops, where students can try out brickwork, plastering, joinery and painting and decorating.

Meanwhile, The Centre for Rural and Equine Studies, at the auction mart, will be open for students to view vehicle engineering, the purpose-built equestrian centre, animal studies units and land-based skills area.

A t the High Street campus, visitors can tour the Academy of Hair and Beauty and the brasserie restaurant and training kitchens.

Advisors from the student services team will answer questions on the finance and support available.
