LONG Preston Parish Council is planning to recruit a councillor to fill a vacancy left following a recent resignation.
Local electors who are interested in supporting the community are invited to contact the parish clerk who will provide more information on the role of a councillor and an application pack.
The deadline for applications is noon on Friday, November 7, and applications will be considered at the ordinary meeting of the parish council on Thursday, November 13 at 7.30pm at Long Preston Village Hall.
