INGLETON Library will host a series of mosaic workshops as part of the Creative Residencies Artists into Libraries project.

They will be led by Gabrielle Naptali, who is based in Scarborough and has worked all over Yorkshire developing projects with communities.

She said: ‘I’m really looking forward to developing this project. I’ve heard so much about Ingleton and the work of the previous artists so I can’t wait to start!"

The first workshops will take place next week - on Wednesday from 1pm to 3pm and 4pm to 6pm and Thursday from 10am to 1pm.

Further workshops take place on Tuesday, November 4, from1pm to 3pm and 4pm to 6 pm.

The library is also working with North Craven Children Centre on a special autumn-based storytime session, which will take place on Saturday and is aimed at pre-school children aged from 18 months.

There will be crafts and activities for all the family and tickets cost £1 per family.
