WALKERS have donated money to two charities that support their welfare.
The Bentham Footpath Group has agreed to use surplus funds to give £250 to both the Clapham-based Cave Rescue Organisation and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Members also agreed at their annual meeting to walk the Bentham Heritage Trail twice a year and then report back to the town council on its condition.
