A GROUP of year 11 students from a Barnoldswick high school attended a conference about how to get into the top universities.
Sixteen pupils from West Craven High School, along with headteacher Craig Baker and head of upper school Debbie Gartland, went to the Getting Into the Top Universities student conference at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester.
The event was put on by the PiXL Club, which focuses on raising standards at GCSE and A level.
The conference's aim was to improve life chances for young people through improved educational achievement and enhanced self-esteem to give worthy progression routes in the next stage of their education.
