ORGANISERS of an annual charity fundraiser have issued a final plea for people to support this year's venture.
Throughout November, participating solicitors waive their usual will-making fees and instead invite people to give a donation.
Proceeds from the Will Aid initiative – now in its 26th year – support nine UK charities, including Age UK, Christian Aid and Save the Children.
Local solicitors taking part are Walker Foster, which has offices in High Street, Skipton (01756 700200), Newtown, Barnoldswick (01282 812340), Kirkgate, Silsden (01535 656000) and Riddings Road, Ilkley (01943 609969); John J Halliwell & Co, in Kirkgate, Silsden (01535 653094), Savage Crangle in High Street, Skipton (01756 794611) and Coles in Settle Town Hall (01729 823589).
Will Aid spokesman Shirley Marsland said: "This is the perfect opportunity to have a solicitor draw up your will, protect your loved ones and give to charity at the same time.
"Our solicitors are generously giving their time without any payment to help people and raise funds for very worthwhile causes."
