DR Alex Gibson, of Bradford University, will give a talk on the recent discovery of a 6,000-year-old house near Grassington – the oldest house in Yorkshire.
The remarkable find was made during work to follow up other recent discoveries in the Grassington and Threshfield areas.
The talk - part of the Heritage Lottery-funded Grassington’s Ancient Heritage Project - will be held in the Octagon Theatre, Grassington, tomorrow at 7.30pm. Admission is free.
