AN inquest has opened into the death of a 79-year-old Addingham woman who fell down the stairs at her home.
Sarah Elizabeth Baggllay, who was born in Karachi, lived in Main Street with her husband.
On Friday, she was taken to LeedsGeneral Infirmary after the fall, where tests showed she had suffered a non-survivable traumatic brain injury and active treatment was withdrawn.
An inquest was opened on Monday and was adjourned until January 27 next year.
