TWO members of the Lunesdale Foxhounds are to stand trial for allegedly hunting a wild mammal with a dog.
Hunt company director Terrence Potter, 63, and huntsman Paul Whitehead, 53, both deny the offence, contrary to sections one and six of the 2004 Hunting Act, said to have taken place at Holly Platt Farm, Ingleton, on February 18.
Potter, of Orton, Penrith, and Whitehead, of Cautley, Sedbergh, were excused attendance at Skipton Magistrates Court on Friday when the case was set for trial to York Magistrates Court on January 21 and January 22.
