CZAJKA Care Group, which operates Beanlands Nursing Home in Glusburn and Currergate Nursing Home in Steeton, has become the official kit sponsor of The Bumble Bees Barbarians Rugby Union Clu.
In 2009, The Bumbles became England’s first mixed ability rugby union team to include players with and without learning and physical disabilities. It quickly grew into a successful team that enjoys the support of the Rugby Football Union and now has more than 40 registered players who compete in regular fixtures against able-bodied teams at Bradford & Bingley Rugby Club.
Konrad Czajka, managing director of Czajka Care Group, says: “As a thriving local business we always place a lot of emphasis on supporting the local community so we’re delighted to be working with The Bumbles.
"It will be fantastic to see the team wearing the new kit. Hopefully it can help to bring the best out of the players and we’ll definitely be following the team’s progress closely throughout the season.”
