THE parishes of Appletreewick, Burnsall, Hartlington and Thorpe will join together on Sunday for the annual Act of Remembrance around the war memorial in St Wilfrid’s Churchyard, Burnsall.
There will be coffee and biscuits served at 10.30am before the Act of Remembrance which starts at 10.45am.
British and American armed force personnel will join with civic leaders and locals.
One of the fallen, L Cpl Arthur Newbould, will be remembered by a relative, Alison Robinson.
