SETTLE Stories will run a Speaking with Confidence workshop next weekend.
Aimed at jobseekers and anyone making a speech, the workshop will be staged at the Friends' Meeting House, Settle, next Saturday, November 15, from 2pm
Trainer Charles Tyrer said: "You could be the most talented potential employee in the world; your skill set could easily exceed Jo Blogs who’s next up in the interview room. But, if Blogs comes across as confident, charismatic, and can bluff his way through and you enter ‘meltdown’, who do you think will get the job?"
The workshop was inspired by members of the public knocking on Settle Stories door asking for help with public speaking.
Participants will learn breathing and vocal techniques, how to present themselves both confidently and authentically and how to be more spontaneous and free themselves of their inner critic.
To book, call 01729 822292 or email charles@settlestories.org.uk
