A PLAN to change the use of a farm building in Earby has been refused.
The West Craven Area Committee turned down an application to change the use of an agricultural storage building at Windlefield Farm, on Birch Hall Lane, to form a domestic garage and gym.
A neighbour objected to the plans for a number of reasons, including loss of privacy, no bat survey had been carried out, concerns about the design of the yard area and the roof of the proposed building was not in keeping with surrounding buildings.
Planners recommended refusal on the bat survey grounds and councillors agreed and rejected the application.
