IT was dream come true when football fan Tyler Hawkins walked out onto the pitch before the recent Liverpool v Real Madrid match.
Nine-year-old Tyler, a pupil at Skipton's Greatwood School, won a competition on Facebook to be mascot at the Champions League game.
"When he heard, he jumped for joy," said his mum, Laura. "He couldn't believe it at first.
"He is just mad about football and he absolutely loved the experience of going out through the tunnel. It was a real adrenalin rush."
And Tyler got to meet all the players, including Ronaldo.
"It was a dream come true," added Laura, who watched the match back at home in Pinhaw Road with her younger son, five-year-old Thomas.
"I was just made up for Tyler and I must admit I had a tear in my eye. I am really, really, proud of him."
Tyler - who is a massive Manchester United fan - was accompanied to the match by his dad, Declan, who plays football for Grassington United.
