THE Parish Church of the Holy Ascension, Settle, is hosting a Christmas Tree Festival.
Businesses, charities and clubs have been invited to place a decorated tree in the church and is hoped that the decorations will be themed to reflect the donors' interests.
The festival will run this Saturday and Sunday, December 6 and 7, and next Saturday and Sunday, December 13 and 14.
The church will be open from 10am to 3pm on the two Saturdays, and from noon to 3pm on the Sundays. Homemade seasonal refreshments will be available.
Also,this Saturday, there will be the annual joint choirs and music groups' carol concert at 6.30pm, and next Sunday, December 14, there will be a service of nine lessons and carols with Cantores Salicium, also at 6.30pm.
