THE UK citizens' organisation 38 Degrees now has a local group.
38 Degrees - Airedale will meet to discuss and take action on local and national issues of concern.
Last month, members distributed leaflets in Skipton and Keighley, explaining the Transatlantic Trade and Information Partnership (TTIP), being negotiated between the EU and US.
Others have protested publicly about the privatisation of the NHS and helped to fight off the government plan to sell the country's national forests.
The group's next meeting is on Sunday at 11am in the Keighley Railway Station's Cafe Choux Choux. New members are welcome.
