Snow is forecast in Craven
AN amber weather warning has been issued by the Met Office which has forecast widespread and heavy snow showers across the area overnight and into tomorrow.
Amounts are expected to range between 5cm at lower levels and 15cm on high ground, with the prospect of drifting and blizzard conditions, especially on the higher routes.
Drivers could face hazardous conditions and they are urged to take extra care through this evening and into tomorrow morning. The northerly winds could gust between 40 and 50mph.
