FOUR brave ladies took to the catwalk to reveal a selection of versatile, smart and stylish clothing as part of a fashion show organised by Ingleborough District Scouts.

Unique prints, chic dresses, fashionable tunics and smart jeans all featured in the spring collection put together especially for the occasion by Kitty Brown Boutique of Carnforth.

After a free drink on arrival, the fashion show began with an amusing demonstration of how to tie scarves and pashminas, with the all-female audience trying their hand at novel ways to keep even the most slippery of fashion accessories under control!

The ladies were then treated to a display of outfits ranging from trendy to elegant, all carefully accessorised with bags and jewellery, giving them a stunning show of the latest fashions.

After refreshments and a raffle, the participants were invited to browse the clothes-laden rails, to try on garments to purchase and to select accessories from the huge range on sale.

By the end of the event, more than £150 has been raised for Scout funds but, more importantly, the district team was able to show that Scouting is fun for adults, as well as young people.
