Police hunt Skipton sheep rustlers
SHEEP rustlers have struck in Skipton.
Police say 15 Texel cross sheep and 25 Texel cross lambs were taken from a field at the bottom of Cawder Road from between 10.30pm on Saturday, June 28, and 9.30am today.
The thieves cut a bolt on the gate to gain access to the field, which is near the canal bridge.
Police are appealing for information and anyone who can help is asked to contact PC Adam Steventon at Skipton Police Station on 101 or email Adam.Steventon@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk
