CRAVEN College is celebrating after one of its educational courses received a professional association award for meeting the needs of employers.
The Sector Endorsed Foundation Degrees for Early Years (SEFDEY), which recognises the relationship between students, employers and college lecturers, was awarded to the college's foundation degree in young children's learning and development course.
It was recently presented by Dr Gill Goodliff, senior lecturer and head of qualifications for early years at The Open University.
“The Craven College Foundation Degree in Young Children’s Learning and Development has been certified by SEFDEY as meeting the needs of employers. Sector endorsement of this Foundation Degree reflects the ongoing recognition of this vocational qualification in the childcare sector," she said.
