SIXTY-FIVE Cubs, leaders and supporters from Ingleborough District enjoyed a mystical journey to the land of Narnia during their recent summer camp.
They entered the world of fantasy by travelling to the Scout Association’s Great Tower Activity Centre in the Lake District where they encountered many characters from the famous CS Lewis story, The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.
The Cubs' first quest was to design and make a banner depicting their team names which included Bowmen, Centaurs, Dryads and Naiads.
Other activities included bell-boating on Windermere, map reading, creating human letters to spell out Narnia, bouldering and escaping from Jadis’ Castle by stacking crates to amazing heights.
