THE Folly in Settle - home to the Museum of North Craven Life - is offering youngsters the chance to develop their art and crafts skills.

It is staging two workshops where youngsters aged from seven can work local artists and the Folly team on various projects.

The events follow a highly successful Easter workshop.

The first will take place on Wednesday and will feature crafts linked to paper, including paper-making, marbling and book making as well as a messier fun activity.

The second workshop on Wednesday, August 19, will inspire the youngsters to create traditional sweets in a gift box.

Both will run from 2pm to 4.30pm and places must be booked in advance to ensure there are enough tools and teachers. Tickets cost £5 which includes materials, full tuition and refreshments and to book email follyfamilyactivities@ncbpt.org.uk or call 01729 822771.
