RESCUERS went to the aid of a Three Peaks walker, who slipped on wet, muddy grass, injuring an ankle.
The 33-year-old woman was on the Three Peaks route near High Birkwith, Horton-in-Ribblesdale, when the incident occurred on Saturday morning.
She was assisted by members of the Clapham-based Cave Rescue Organisation. She was given her pain relief before being carried, by stretcher, to a waiting road ambulance.
