HEBDEN Sports have been hailed a success - despite the cold weather on Bank Holiday Monday.
The under nines fell race attracted more than 30 keen youngsters and the organisers hope they will progress through the age groups.
A spokesman for the event said: "It went really well and there was a great atmosphere."
The sports ranged from fun egg and spoon contests to the more serious fell races.
