MUCH-loved Yorkshire folk duo, Belinda O’Hooley and Heidi Tidow, will stop off in Skipton on Monday.

The duo are travelling the land in Birgitte - their trusty old camper van - playing 30 micro gigs in 30 real ale venues.

They will bring their Summat's Brewing show to Skipton Folk Unplugged, which meets at the Narrow Boat pub on Victoria Street.

O’Hooley and Tidow are regarded as one of the most exciting acts on the contemporary folk scene, with "exquisite harmonies, sublime musicality and cheeky northern banter".

They are accomplished interpreters of everything from Massive Attack to traditional Irish ballads, but it’s their own songwriting and harmonies that shine.

Their new album, The Hum, produced by Mercury-nominated Gerry Diver, has received high praise and even resulted in a personal invitation from Billy Bragg to perform at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

The gig will start at 8.30pm and all are welcome.
