GARDEN waste collections in Craven are taking a winter break from the end of the month.
Final collections for those signed up to the service will take place on November 23, for those on week one of the schedule, or on November 30 for week two.
They will start again from March next year, although there may be a one-off collection in January, depending on the weather.
The extra collection, on either January 18 or January 25, will also include the removal of Christmas trees, which need to be cut into bits.
Subscriptions to the garden waste collection are up for renewal in the spring.
Craven District Council last year charged £24 per year for the service, but was due to review the charge as part of its annual review of fees and charges on Tuesday.
