SLIDIN' About, a trombone quartet of young professional musicians who met as students at the Royal Northern College of Music, will play at All Saints' Church, Burton-in-Lonsdale.
The concert will take place next Saturday, March 19, and is the latest in the village's Concert and Cakes series.
The initiative was started three years ago to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr Chris Rowland, who lived in Burton-in-Lonsdale, and who set up the Chamber Music department at the RNCM.
The concerts are an hour of music followed by refreshments of tea, coffee and homemade cakes.
The start time is 2.30pm and admission is free, with no ticket required. However, donations would be welcome and there is a charge for refreshments.
