UPPER Wharfedale Fell Rescue travelled to Helperby to help with the search for a missing vulnerable 64-year-old man in the early hours of last Wednesday.
The team joined colleagues from Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue to search the area around Thornton Bridge.
A small team was tasked with searching wooded areas and farmland with search dogs, while the swift water team searched the river and banks downstream of the bridge.
Sadly, a man's body was found in the river.
