They were all members from all over the North East region of National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA), whose vision is promote successful and sustainable amateur theatre, providing a range of opportunities for people to develop their skills and enjoy taking part, at all levels.
It also supports the education and information needs of individuals and organisations with high quality services and products that contribute to the success of amateur theatre.
Trudy Wilson, chairman of SAOS, said: "A group of members from Settle go each year. It is an opportunity to see what other societies have done and to network with fellow members.
"Each year there is a formal dinner and a ball, there are also performances from a couple of societies, and a lot of laughter. I hope that even more members will be able to go next year."
