A DRIVER stopped at Kildwick was over the drugs-drive limit, heard Skipton magistrates.
It was just after midnight on May 5 that Usman Ali, 32, who was on licence from prison at the time, was stopped in a Audi RS3 on the A629, the court heard.
He failed a road side drugs test and was taken to the police station where he provided a blood sample, which later revealed 4.3 mg of cannabis - the legal limit is 2mg.
Ali, of Widdop Close, Bradford, who admitted drugs-driving was a family man who worked as a car salesman, the court heard.
He was banned from driving for a year and fined £250 with costs of £85 and surcharge of £30.
