THE road between Settle and Rathmell, close to the junction of the A65, was closed on Sunday morning following a collision between two motorcyclists.
The collision, just outside Littlebank Farm, happened at around 9am and involved two motorcycles - one heading towards Settle and one heading towards Rathmell.
One rider, a 54 year old man from Rochdale, was taken to Preston Hospital, with serious, but not life threatening injuries, while the other rider, a 60 year old man from Blackburn was taken to Airedale Hospital.
Police concluded their investigations of the scene at 12.30pm, when the road was reopened.
