A MAN in his mid 60s has been released on police bail after being arrested yesterday in Coniston Cold on suspicion of the illegal possession of a firearm.
The man - who has not been named by police - was arrested at around 12 midday on Thursday at the property in Coniston Cold.
He was taken to Harrogate Police Station under suspicion of possessing a firearm without a certificate. He was later released and is now on bail while investigations continue.
