Skipton MP Julian Smith met up with pupils and staff at Ings Primary School in Skipton on a recent visit.
Mr Smith was shown round the school and met pupils of all ages.
He also had a long discussion with the headteacher, Donna Makepeace, before meeting with some of the staff there, including the head chef, who has been at Ings Primary School for over 16 years.
Mr Smith said: “I pay tribute to the dedication and focus of all the staff at Ings School who are doing everything they can to turn the school around and to get it back on track. I was impressed by what I saw on Friday and hope to be able to visit again soon.”
