YOUNGSTERS and their parents are being invited to follow a nativity trail around Skipton shops and also have a chance to win a gift in a prize draw.
The challenge takes place in the run up St Andrew's Church Christmas Tree Festival which will be held at the church in Newmarket Street on Saturday and Sunday, December 3 and 4.
The church opens at 10am on both days with carols at 11am and 2.30pm on December 4 and visitors will enjoy light refreshments, all proceeds going to the Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association and the RNLI.
The nativity trail can be carried out between Friday November 25 and Friday December 23 when people will be challenged to find the missing figures from the nativity in 12 Skipton shops and in the Tourist Information Centre. Taking part are The Body Shop, Coolcrafting, Chocolates & Truffles, eshoes, Bek's, Present Planners in Craven Court, Fat Face, Home & Kitchen, Cornerstone, The Vintage Wash House, Fleur lingerie and Wool & books in Keighley Road.
The church has published a leaflet with full instructions and also the chance to colour in a nativity scene and enter a prize draw.
