A TIPPLE produced by an award-winning Cross Hills brewery is going down a treat in parliament.

Cratchit’s Cracker, from Naylor's, has been chosen as a festive bitter at Westminster and will be on sale throughout this month in the Strangers' Bar.

South Craven MP Julian Smith invited brewery owners Stephen and Robert Naylor and their colleagues to London to enjoy the brew in situ.

"It was great that they were able to make it down here and see their beer on tap in the Houses of Parliament," said Mr Smith.

"I thoroughly enjoyed meeting them all and talking with them about the brewery. I wish them every success for the future."

Cratchit’s Cracker is described as a pale ale which gets its festive flavour from a mixture of hops and malt.

Naylor's has picked-up a string of awards for its brews, including the joint 'best beer' title at this year's Skipton CAMRA festival and a similar accolade at Cononley Beer Festival.
