Police are appealing to the public for help to trace a man they want to speak to after a staff tips box containing £150 was stolen from a Skipton café.
The incident took place at around 1.40pm on Tuesday (6 December 2016) at Café Nero on Sheep Street.
North Yorkshire Police have issued an image captured from CCTV of a man they would like to speak to in relation to the theft.
A police spokesman said: "The man that officers want to trace was wearing a distinctive blue padded jacket with dark shoulders and a pair of black and white Adidas striped trainers.
"Anyone who recognises him or has any information about the theft is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 and ask for Andrew Hanks or email him at andrew.hanks@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk.
"Please quote incident number 12160220538."
