Couple rescued by CRO after becoming lost in the dark
The Cave Rescue Organisation in Clapham was called out to help after two walkers reported themselves lost in the dark and in low cloud on Pen y ghent.
The male, 41, and female, 38, who didn't have a map, had intended to do a circular walk with their two dogs from Horton in Ribblesdale.
The call out came at 6.27pm on Sunday.
The walkers were located on Bargh Hill, Stainforth, and a local CRO coordinator walked up to them and guided them and the dogs off the hill and then drove them back to Horton.
