POLICE have just released CCTV images as part of their inquiries into an alleged fraud that took part in Skipton town centre almost a year ago.
On April 11, last year, it is alleged a fraudulent cheque for £3,600 was cashed at the town's Natwest Bank in the High Street. The next day, there was another attempt to cash a cheque for £8,800, but this time, it failed.
Officers would like to speak to the man caught on the bank's CCTC camera as part of their investigation, or to anyone who may know him. Anyone with information is asked to call the non emergency 101 number, select option two and ask for PC David Gasson or email david.gasson@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk
If you wish to remain anonymous, you can pass information to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
