THE Craven Police Charity Quiz and Auction celebrated its 21st anniversary event with Skipton MP Julian Smith.
Hosted by Detective Inspector Steve Menzies, of North Yorkshire Police, the event was held at the Rendezvous Hotel, Skipton in aid of Skipton Extended Learning for All (SELFA) and Childhood Cancer Research (PETAL).
It is hoped this year's event, once all the money has been collected, will raise even more than last year's £6,000.
"It was a pleasure to attend this wonderful event and I pay tribute to the organisers and to DI Steve Menzies for putting together such a fun evening while raising money for some fantastic local charities," said Mr Smith.
