SKIPTON schoolgirl Karley Webb will have her long locks cut off this weekend - to help children suffering from hair loss.

The 11 year old pupil of Christ Church School has been growing her hair for the last two years after hearing about The Little Princess Trust - a charity that provides real hair wigs to children who have lost their own, due to cancer, or other medical conditions.

And on Saturday, her currently below the waist hair will be cut at Ultra Violet, on Belmont Bridge, to shoulder length.

Her mum, Fiona Webb, said: "I'm incredibly proud of her, she's a very kind and caring girl. She also wants to raise the money to make the wig, and has so far raised about £170." To help Karley reach her £350 target, donate online at justgiving.com/Fiona-Webb2
