A PARTY of children from Thornton-in-Craven Primary School travelled to London at the invitation of Skipton MP Julian Smith.
The years five and six, nine to 11 year olds, were accompanied by headteacher Katie Smith, and met up with Mr Smith in Westminster's Parliamentary Education Centre.
"It was great to see the students from Thornton in Craven Primary and to speak with them about how Parliament works and my role as their MP," said Mr Smith. " The students very kindly invited me to their school and I look forward to seeing them again soon."
