A mother and her son were rescued from their car this morning after it became stranded on a flooded road in Carleton.
Firefighters and Skipton police both attended the scene at around 8am this morning and led the two people from the car at Pale Lane.
Both North Yorkshire Police and the fire service have issued warnings today about the risk of driving through flooded roads, with a lot of standing water reported around the county.
