THE Yorkshire Air Ambulance helped to get a man in his forties to hospital after he fell and broke his leg on the Ingleton Waterfall Trail on Sunday.
A team from the Clapham-based Cave Rescue Organisation and Yorkshire Ambulance Service paramedics rushed to the scene shortly after 5.30pm, after the alarm was raised by fellow walkers on the trail, near Baxenghyll Falls.
The man, believed to be a photographer, is thought to have fallen down steps.
The Air Ambulance helped to move him nearer to a waiting road ambulance, and he was carried to it by members of the Cave Rescue team. The man was taken to Lancaster Royal Infirmary.
