Barnoldswick Senior Pop In group held its annual Easter bonnet competition.
AN annual Easter bonnet competition at Barnoldswick Senior Pop In produced some "outstanding" entries.
The winners were Joyce Wilson in first place, Phylis Hartley, who finished second, and Brenda Hargreaves, who took third place in the competition held at St Joseph's Community Centre, Barnoldswick.
Jenny Purcell, a member of St Joseph's management committee, did the judging along with her husband Harry, and Audrey Smith, committee chairman.
Mrs Purcell said: "To be quite honest, their hats were outstanding. They all put a lot of effort into it and received chocolate eggs as prizes."
The Barnoldswick Senior Pop In group meets at St Joseph's Community Centre every Monday from 10am to 11.30am.
