Principle Trust to stage grand charity ball at Coniston Hotel
SKIPTON based children's charity The Principle Trust is staging a charity ball at The Coniston Hotel on Friday, June 9.
Sir Gary Verity, chief executive of Welcome to Yorkshire, will be amongst the guests enjoying the entertainment, comedian Mike Lancaster and the band, Rolling Keys.
Guests will be able to bid in an auction on the night for prizes including tickets to the Monaco Grand Prix and a painting by artist Danny Abraham.
Proceeds from the night will go to the charity's new Log Cabin Appeal. The charity hopes to raise £100,000 in the next two years to buy a cabin in the Yorkshire Dales as a place where needy families can go for respite.
