THE Voices of Craven 2017 Festival reaches its conclusion on Saturday with a grand finale concert in Giggleswick School Chapel.

Community choirs that have been rehearsing in villages up and down North Craven will come together to perform a selection of songs from around the world conducted by choral director Tom Leech.

Joining the massed Voices of Craven Choir will be pupils from Settle College who have been learning a trio of gospel songs under the tutelage of head of music Amy Shaw.

Amy also joins the line-up of professional soloists including Bibi Heal and Douglas Rice-Bowen, who are performing with the choir.

Festival director Jane Rice-Bowen said: “This is going to be a wonderful concert which shows off the hard work of our amateur choirs but also reveals the wealth of professional musical expertise that we have in Craven and the surrounding area.”
